Electronic fuel injection

Pulse multipoint fuel injection system includes three subsystems: the air intake system (air filter, the air intake pipes, air flow sensor, a throttle control system of idling and intake manifold systems), electronic control and fuel supply system (fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator , fuel injectors and the fuel line, the fuel system relay).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. In order to check the injectors, start the engine and attach to each of them a special stethoscope. If you hear clicks, then the injector is functioning properly. 2. If the injector does not click, connect wires to the terminals of the injector a special lamp. If the lamp is flashing, supplied to the injector contacts correct voltage. 3. Stop the engine, remove the wire from the common injector connector and measure the resistance of each injector right cylinder heads, connecting one of the ohmmeter to the terminal A and the other in turn to each of the other three contacts. 4. Similarly, measure the resistance of each injector head left, connect one ohmmeter wire Easy to pin D, and the other one by one to each of the other three contacts (1 - the left head, 2 - right). Compare the results obtained with the technical requirements. 5. If necessary, remove the injectors and measure the resistance of the injectors themselves by connecting an ohmmeter to the contacts. 6. Measure the resistance of the injectors.
