Fuel tank



Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Drain the fuel from the tank through the drain hole or by means of a siphon.
4. Disconnect the fuel pump and fuel level sensor meter.
5. Raise and secure the rear of the vehicle. Remove the section of the exhaust pipe, located behind the catalytic converter.
6. Remove the pressure control valve and the fuel tank pressure sensor.
7. Disconnect hoses of giving and fuel return from the metal tubes. Remove the filler tube and fuel tank vent hose.
8. Place the jack under the fuel tank.

9. Remove the bolts (arrows) and remove the two mounting plates tank.
10. Remove the fuel tank.
11. Installation is spent upside-down removals.

Cleaning and repair

All work related to cleaning and repair of the fuel tank must be carried out by experts in a specially equipped workshop.
