If you wash your car yourself
If you wash your own car, you must have: - Sufficient water. If the dirt is not enough water, the small particles of dust and sand can get to the sponge and the paint surface to form a small crack; - A garden hose with a nozzle, or at least two buckets with water; - Hose-brush which washes away the dirt water flow. If you work in gloves for washing or using a sponge, keep the hose close to the surface to be treated to more water fell on the cleaning station. Mittens for washing or sponge after every second or third wiper is completely immersed in a bucket of water and wring out to the pile or in the pores is not dirty; - A brush with a long handle to clean hard to reach areas - the rim and wheel arches; - Sponge with large pores; - Sponge for removing insects from the glass; - A large piece of natural suede to dry; - Bucket for washing or rinsing a special car shampoo chamois cloth for glasses.

1. Close all doors and windows. 2. Clean the wheel arches, caps and thresholds. The remaining dirt is removed in two stages. 3. Rinse the bottom of a stream of steam or water. In winter, be sure to clean the dirt before you start to wash the car. It is recommended once or twice a year to raise the car and inspect the condition of the protective coating of the bottom.

4. Steel wheels front wheels require more frequent cleaning, as there is going to more and more crumbs from the brake linings produced during braking. Clean wheel covers special tool. Caps will serve longer if a sponge before washing to remove dirt from hard to reach places (Fig. 3.5). First remove the dirt stuck a small sponge, then rinse with water under pressure caps.
PRACTICAL ADVICE Aluminum caps are conformal coated. However, if you will touch the cap on the curb or another obstacle, even superlak will not help you. Scratches must be immediately repaired, otherwise they quickly filled with aggressive dust from the brake pads. Gray-black dust erodes the small holes in the light metals. Small scratches and abrasions treat polishing paste for aluminum. |
5. Caps of light metals should be cleaned regularly with water and detergent. Aluminum caps are very sensitive to the effects of the concentrated detergent. Wash them twice a month, and they will last you longer. 6. Clean the hoods of complex shape you make it easier to toothbrushes. Also relevant is the use of protective drugs. The dust from the brake pads and dirt does not penetrate the protective layer of the drug.

Properly wash your car 7. Pour over the car with a strong jet from a hose. On the sink is a mode "rinsing" when washing with water under pressure. 8. Use a hose with a brush, sponge or gloves for washing, wash the car from the roof to the lower edge of the windows. 9. The foam cleaning distribute a circular motion with light pressure. Allow the foam to act for a short time surface. 10. Rinse off the dirt with a hose. On the sink is a normal mode "rinsing". 11. At the last rinsing clean the wheels with a hose with a brush. 12. 17. After cleaning, check the paintwork, glass headlights and front bumper - left there a mud. Well, wipe the headlights (Fig. 3.7), using a soapy solution. If a simple soap solution does not work, use a special tool. Insects, bird droppings, pollen and traces of heavy oils and additives must necessarily be removed.

18. The agent for removing heavy oils and additives can not be applied to the paint - it contains solvents.
PRACTICAL ADVICE Cleaning the headlights Glasses of headlights should be cleaned more often than the body of the car. Particles of dirt on the glass may screen and absorb the rays of light, thereby reducing the distance and brightness of the illuminated range. Even after hours of driving on a wet road lights are polluted by 60%. The length of the illuminated area is reduced by 35 meters - a distance which is always short during emergency braking.
