Maintenance and inspection

Schedule of maintenance, you will find at the end of the book. It is based on the schedule of service that give car manufacturers brand their station auto service. In addition, the regulation contains some preventive maintenance operations of the units and components, which are checked during the inspection. Be sure to observe the terms of service approved by the supplier.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

Compressed air outlet

If the compression air leaks, in most cases, the reasons for this are as follows:

1. Faulty inlet manifold and the air filter (the latter - due to a malfunction of the intake valve).

2. Defective cylinder head gasket or there is a crack in the cylinder head.

3. Open the oil filler neck and dipstick tube; worn walls and mirrors cylinder or piston rings.

4. If any hiss in the exhaust pipe - likely leaky exhaust valve.

It should be remembered that Mercedes performs data by the warranty only if your car is being serviced in a timely manner in warranty.
