Engine block



To secure the cylinder block most of the basic units required for operation of the engine, such as a generator, starter, fuel pump. The lower part of the cylinder forms the crankcase. In both types of engines mounted replaceable cylinder liners, which can be replaced when the degree of wear of the cylinder exceeds the maximum allowable limit.
