Removal and installation of the electric motor and wiper arms



Removal of the motor and wiper arms must be performed in the following order:

Fig. 332. Parts attaching the motor and wiper arms: 1 - the plug; 2 - the wiper motor; 3 - hex bolt; 4 - washer; 5 - hex nut; 6 - Rod wiper; 7 - crank mechanism on the motor shaft




- Open the bonnet and disconnect the plug 1 (Fig. 332) from the connectors;
- A screwdriver to press the two rods 6 with the crank mechanism 7, being careful not to bend the arm and thrust;
- Unscrew the hex nut on the motor shaft, remove the washer and noting the position, remove the lever;
- To turn away three screws 3 and remove the wiper motor.
Installation is performed in reverse order. Traction should be worn on the fingers, from which they were removed. After installation, check the system.
