Removal and installation of the oil filter

In Fig. 128 shows the location of the filter on the engine capacity of 2.3 liters. Filter apparatus shown in Fig. 129. Removal and installation must be performed in the following order:
- Unscrew the oil filter. To do this, unscrew the screw on the cover at the top of the filter (see. Fig. 128) and remove the filter element. Writing drain the oil into the filter housing;
- Completely remove the filter element from the housing and remove the gasket. Remove and small O-rings;
- Insert a new filter element with new pads, wrap the filter cover and tighten it. Pay attention to the correct installation of the seals;
- Check the oil level, if you replace only the filter element. If necessary, pour the oil in the engine;
- Start up the engine and let it run. After stopping the engine to check for leaks oil.
