Removing and installing the generator

Removal and installation of the generator should be undertaken in the following order:

- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery;

- The car in front to establish on support;

- Unscrew bottom protection of the engine to gain access to the details;

- Loosen the belt tension (see. Sec. "Cooling system") and to remove it from a generator pulley;

- Disconnect the two wires on the back side of the generator;

- Unscrew the two screws from the front of the generator, and take them;

- Pull down the generator.

Installation is performed in reverse order.

Bolts of fastening of the generator torque to 42 Nm. Nut "small" O ("61 / D +?�) tighten to 5 Nm nut "big" O ("30 / B +") - 18 N ?� m.

Fit the drive belt and pull it, as described in Sec. "Cooling system".

After installation enter the code recorder (if it has one) and set the time.
