Removal of air from the low pressure fuel circuit



Engines 611,962 to 612,962 and the number 257722

If the engine stops due to complete fuel consumption should be carried out after filling to remove air from the system power supply.

To do this, start the engine attempts to spend no longer than 60 seconds each, until his work uniform.

It is possible that after the maintenance work or the power supply system, air from the low pressure fuel circuit need be removed using a vacuum pump and collection vessel of the diesel fuel.

Venting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the engine covers, address to Section Removal and installation of the engine cover.

2. Press the retaining ring (1) on the valve to remove the air (2) in the direction of the arrow and remove the plug (3).

3. Press the suction nozzle of the vacuum pump to bleed so, to release it.
4. Attach the conduit between the suction nozzle and the capacity of the vacuum pump.
5. Connect the vacuum pump to the side of the vessel.
6. Swing the pump so that the fuel flowed into the container of the vacuum pump without air bubbles.
7. Click on the lock ring on the valve venting in the direction of the arrow and remove the inlet.
8. Insert the plug in the vent valve so that it locks into place.
9. Replace the engine covers, address to Section Removal and installation of the engine cover.
