PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Ensure implementation of all the necessary conditions (see. Section angles of the wheels of the car - the general information).
  2. Make sure the steering wheel and the steering mechanism are located in a central position - the longest mark (1) on the steering shaft must be aligned with the mark (2) on the cover of the steering mechanism. If necessary, adjust the position of the steering wheel, shifting it by no more than one tooth.
  3. Lock the steering wheel in the center position and set the lock, if necessary, placing it on a protective lining.
  4. Loosen the lock nut (6) on the transverse link (3) and clamp bands (4) on the connecting rod (5).
  5. Adjusting convergence value produced by rotation located between the coupling collars adjusting segment connecting rod (5), and - if necessary - the tip of the transverse rod (3), which must be previously freed from the steering pitman with a suitable stripper.
  6. Having achieved the desired result, tighten the locknut (6) and collars (4).
