Removal and installation of the water pump



Remove the drive belt of the water pump. Drain the coolant. Remove the bolts of the water pump pulley and remove the pulley. Remove the thermostat housing mounting bolts to the water pump. Remove the bolts of the pump and remove it. If there is backlash bearing signs of wear, deformation of working surfaces of the pump, replace it.
Before installing, clean the installation location of the pump gasket and sealant residues. Apply peeled place sealant and install the pump.
The remaining operations follow in the reverse order of removal. Start up the engine and check for leaks.
