Removal and installation of the steering mechanism

Mounting the steering gear assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the front wheel and lock the steering column. Remove the bolt and remove the intermediate shaft from the steering mechanism. Disconnect from the steering knuckle tie rod. If necessary, use a special device. After removing the screw thread on the tip retaining nut to avoid damaging the threads. Remove the front section of pipe exhaust system. Give fixture assembly of the steering mechanism and remove it through the right wheel arch. If necessary, repair the steering. When disassembling refer illustration steering mechanism with rods. After removing the steering gear set them in such a way that the distance from the lock nut to the anther was 62.6 mm. Check wheel alignment. Installation is in the reverse order.
