Cable Throttle
By adjusting the throttle. On the left engine SR20DE, the right of the engine SR20Di Before removing the throttle cable, it is necessary precisely to mark the position of the adjusting nut. If you are installing the nut will be in the same position, the throttle valve is fully opened and closed. Check that the throttle is depressed when the gas pedal was completely open and back to the idle position when the accelerator is released. If necessary, replace the throttle cable: | - Disconnect the throttle cable from the lever on the gas pedal.
- Loosen the two nuts on the counter support the throttle cable (see. Illustration) so that you can remove the cable. Turn the throttle segment against the spring force and unplug the cable from the segment of the throttle.
- Remove the cable bracket at the end of the engine compartment and remove the cable from the engine compartment.
Installation is carried out in reverse order. Adjust the cable as follows: - Tighten the cable adjusting nut, t. E. The farthest segment from the nut of the throttle until the segment begins to move.
- From this position, unscrew the adjusting nut on the 1, 5-2 turn back and tighten the lock nut on the opposite side of the counter support.
- Depress the accelerator pedal and check whether the fully open throttle.
