Drive shafts



Each end of the drive shaft is equipped with a constant velocity joint. On all cars on the outer end of the shaft mounted indoor joint which can be replaced, but not repaired. Depending on the vehicle model on the shafts can be mounted or not mounted thrust bearings. With the thrust bearing shaft without using a separate shaft, which has at the inner end tripodny hinge. This design of the shaft can be found on both sides of 1.6 l and on the left side of the injection engine. In the version with a thrust bearing between the outer constant velocity joints and ball-joint shaft installed. Ball joint is in a separate joint with its own shaft which is directed thrust bearing and connected to the gearbox. This shaft is mounted on the right side of the car with a fuel-injected engine. The outer end of the drive shaft is splined and is fastened to the hub of the front wheel. When the ABS installed on the front end of the shaft has a ring gear. The inner end of the shaft is held spline and lock ring gears inside the differential, if not installed thrust bearing. When installed in a box bearing the reference in the same way attached coupling shaft.
