Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Support the rear wheels of the bar.
A warning

When removing the half-line can not move the car, as in the absence of longitudinal load may be damaged bearing.


3. To pick up a screwdriver and remove the protective cap 22 with the wheel hub (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l)).
4. Unscrew the nut 21.
5. Remove the washer 20.
6. Loosen the wheel bolts.
7. To raise and establish on support a forward part of the car.
8. Remove the wheel.
9. Remove bolts 9.
A warning

Bolts constant velocity joint (CV joint) to the flange of a semiaxis have heads with internal splines, so they require a special spline loosen the key. You can not use the hexagon, as this may damage the splines.


10. Pull the inner CV joint from the flange axis and remove the axle shaft from the wheel hub. If you have problems with taking out the half-axis of the hub, unscrew the bolt ball joint (see. P. 6 sub-section 9.1.5), to press the lever down and remove the suspension of the axle shaft hub.
11. Remove the gasket 21 (Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters), on models GTi), if necessary.
A warning

On models with engines of 1.6 and 1.8 liter diesel and 1.6-liter mounted vibration damper 18. When replacing the half-line, he must always be repositioned to the new shaft.


12. To beat out a spring pin 17.
13. Dilute the ends of the torsional vibration damper 18 and to remove it from the axle shaft 6.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the condition of adhesive tape to the inner surface of the torsional vibration damper 18 and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.
2. placed on the floor 18 torsional vibration damper in accordance with Fig. 7.3 (the size of a = 4 mm) and drive a new spring pin 17 (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,6 and 1,8 l)).
3. Remove the protective film and attach a new seal 21 to the inner CV joint (on models GTi).
4. Clean the splines of the hub and the half-line from dirt and grease molybdenum grease.
5. Insert the axle shaft into the wheel hub.
6. Tighten the screws 9 (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l)) to 45 Nm.
7. Install the wheel.
8. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
9. Tighten wheel bolts torque of 110 Nm.
10. Install the washer 20.
11. Tighten the nut torque 21 230 Nm.
12. Install the cap 22.
