Removing and installing turbocharger



Removing and installing a turbocharger on the engine performed as follows:
- Carry out the necessary preparatory work, install a car suitable for carrying out this operation place; remove the battery from the vehicle electrical system; Remove air ducts connecting the turbocharger to the intake manifold and the air filter housing with a turbocharger;

- Depending on the model of the turbocharger (Fig. 3.14, 3.15), disconnect vacuum hoses control the boost pressure; Pay attention to the order of their connection and marking subsequently to connect them properly;

- Release nut and disconnect a reception pipe of an exhaust system from the outlet of the turbocharger. Remove and discard the gasket. Be sure to subsequently install a new gasket;
- Release the socket and disconnect turbocharger oil lines. Sealing washers when installing replacement;
- Disconnect the power supply from the oil pipe mounting on the intake manifold;
- Remove the screws and remove the exhaust pipe of the exhaust system of the support bracket of the cylinder head;
- Remove the bolts fastening the turbocharger to the intake manifold, and then release it from the bottom and remove the nut fixing it. Bolts during installation, replace the turbocharger;
- Remove the turbocharger from the exhaust manifold;
- Installation of the turbocharger spend in the reverse order of removal, however, the need to perform several conditions: the thread and the head of the new turbocharger mounting bolts must be greased with refractory greasing; before installing the feed oil line fitting and fill the turbocharger oil supply clean engine oil;
- After installing turbocharger run the engine a few minutes at idle speed to turbo lubrication system components fully recovered.

Turbocharger to the exhaust manifold 45
Intake exhaust gas compressor 25
Tube oil supply to the turbocharger 35
Tube removal of oil from the turbocharger 40
