Check the thickness of brake linings

When braking pressure on the front brake pads disc brakes more than the rear brake pads. In this regard, they wear out quickly.
Before changing brake pads, measure the thickness of the lining on the brake pads.
For a rough estimate of the thickness of the brake linings, which should be carried out regularly, highlight a portable lamp in the viewing window of a support and a visual estimate of the thickness of the brake linings.
To accurately determine the thickness of the brake linings must remove the front wheel (front part of the car jacking and removing the bolts holding the wheel) and measure the thickness of the inner and outer brake pad.

A WARNING
Brake pads Always replace in pairs (included 4 pcs.), Even if only one pad worn pads and simultaneously on both brake mechanisms of forward wheels. Swap places the brake pads is prohibited.

If the lining thickness of 2 mm, the maximum limit is reached wear linings and pads should be replaced.
