Hood



Removing the hood using the following procedure:
- Before removing the sure mark with a pencil or felt-tip position of the bonnet hinge;
- Disconnect from the left side of the hood lead the "masses";
- Disconnect the fluid tube for the wire to the windshield washer nozzles and, if installed, the connectors heaters nozzles;
- Loosen the hinge bolts on the hood and by resorting to the help of an assistant, carefully remove the hood and place it in a place where it will be less prone to accidental damage;
- Before installing the hood disconnected inspect all items, check the hinges and replace them if necessary;
- If you performed the removal and installation of the lock and / or pull the bonnet carefully trace the way of stowage and securing shell thrust. Remove the shell from clips and thrust itself on the handle to open the lock from the interior and from the castle. Remove the thrust;
- In the case of re-installation of traction it is recommended to hang over the end of it, which it is fixed to the lock and enter the liquid lubricant between the shell and the core wire rods to prevent rust and to give smooth running traction;
- Before removing the bonnet, mark its position on the upper cross member front end. Remove the two screws and remove the lock. Before installing the lock, check the condition of its details and connections. Links grease lubrication;
- Set the lock and traction drive lock in reverse order of removal. Check the clarity and ease of operation of the lock of his release. If necessary, reposition the lock to adjust the sharpness of its closing and unlocking.
Installing the hood is made in reverse order of removal. Check clearance between the hood panel in the closed condition and the surrounding panel edges. If necessary, adjust the gap by producing it by changing the position of the loop with respect to the hood. Carefully Make sure that the gap does not exceed 4-6 mm and loops to be symmetrical relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
