Side doors, tailgate and trunk lid

Before removing the side doors of the tailgate or trunk lid is required to disconnect from the electrical mains battery.
Removal was performed as follows:
- Opening the door, which is supposed to dismantle and remove the bellows from the wire, turn the connector housing counterclockwise and disconnect the connector;
- If the vehicle is equipped with central locking, disconnect the tube for supplying air to the castle, which is also carried out through the connector housing;
- Disconnect the door limit switch;
- If the vehicle is equipped with a self-locking hinge screws, remove them from the hinge axis, and with the help of an assistant, remove the side door;
- Otherwise mark the position of the loop with respect to the door, and only then unscrew bolts of fastening and remove the door.

NOTE
For vehicles used hinges side doors in two types: conventional and self-locking bolts.

Similarly, removable tailgate and trunk lid.
Before installation, check the condition of the hinges. If necessary, replace them, marking their position before removal to facilitate subsequent adjustment. To reduce the possible damage from corrosion, clean the dirt and dust from the surface all the doors that are difficult when front door (the front end of the lower part of the door). Clean holes for draining water from the interior of the door. Apply to the places most susceptible to corrosion, anti-corrosion layer of the composition (such as "Movil", "Tektite" and so on. N.).
Installation spend in the reverse order of removal, but at the same time keep in mind a number of important features:
- In the case of loops with self-locking bolts grease axle grease hinges and install the door Assistant. Tighten the self-locking bolts to 23 Nm;
- In the case of installations using the usual loops assistant attach hinges to the pillar, screw hinge bolts and tighten them to a torque of 30 Nm;
- Check the size and location of the gap between the door and the edges of adjacent panels. If necessary, adjust by changing the position of the hinge.

Fixing the tailgate trim (Model Variant)
Fig. 10.7. Fixing the tailgate trim (Model Variant): 1 - piston attachment; 2 - shaped nut; 3 - corner buffer; 4 - lock; 5 - interior doors; 6 - screw

Adjust the relative position parts of a back buffer
Fig. 10.8. Adjust the relative position parts of a back buffer: 1 - threaded plug; 2 - base buffer

Buffer to adjust the penetration edge of the tailgate
Fig. 10.9. Buffer to adjust the penetration edge of the tailgate 1 - locking projection; 2 - threaded plug; 3 - roll pin slotted mounting; 4 - the rubber tip of the buffer; 5 - base plate buffer; 6 - groove for latching protrusion; 7 - base buffer; 8 - locking washer; 9 - lock bolt

Adjustment. To align the joints of the tailgate (boot lid) with the surrounding panels provides adjustable buffers. Variant models to adjust the penetration edge of the tailgate provides adjustable angular buffers 3 (Fig. 10.7), which are secured by means of fastening caps. The mutual arrangement of the components of the buffer should be such that the distance "A" between the threaded bush 1 (Fig. 10.8) and the base 2 the buffer was 3 mm and the distance "c" (Fig. 10.9) between the lower portion of the rubber buffer and the plate 5 base buffer - 10 mm. On the buffer supplied in parts, adjusting the gap "A" (see. Fig. 10.8) is already installed.
To adjust clearance:
- Remove the buffer assembly from the body, releasing the roll pin attachment;
- Removing the rubber tip 4 (see. Fig. 10.9) buffer, remove the retaining bolt 9 to the end of the locking washer 8;
- Remove the threaded bushing 1 (see. Fig. 10.8) with a left-hand thread so that the gap "A" was 3 mm;
- Pull the locking washer 8 (see. Fig. 10.9) away from the base of the buffer and then click on it so that the protrusions 1 hit in the recess 6, set the buffer assembly in the body and secure it;
- Wear rubber tip;
- A slight movement of the tailgate, close and reopen;
- Remove the rubber tip and tighten the bolt to a torque of 1 Nm;
- Wear rubber tip.
