Removing and installing the generator



Removing the alternator should be undertaken in the following order:
- Remove the "minus" wire to the battery cable. Bend the cable from the pole terminal of the battery (to avoid accidental contact);
- Disconnect cable connector from the slip rings. Remove the wire from the disconnected clamp;
- Loosen the drive belt tensioner and the two mounting bolts of the generator;
- Click on the generator side of the weakening of the belt and remove the V-belt drive;
- Remove the lower bolt of the generator, located below and remove the generator.
Installation of the generator spend in the reverse order of removal. Insert V-belt pulley and adjust its tension.
