To inspect or replace the control cables it is advisable to remove the control panel (Fig. 14.13), but the cable must be adjusted when the control panel is in place and attached to the chassis and to the dashboard. To disassemble the control panel, remove the screws and push the panel inside, removing trim.

In Fig. 14.14 shows the connection of cables to the control panel from the back side. When replacing the cables are attached to the past, first the control panel, and then - to the levers of the respective valves. The cables vary in length and color marking on the cable sheath.
