Controls

Lever actuated by the driver, is connected to a cable with the shift lever on the transmission. The shift lever knob in turn actuates the manual valve actuator to the valve block.
Blocking transmission provided electronic transmission control unit. The control unit enables and disables the traction relay on the selector lever to prevent movement of the lever from the Park and Neutral positions under certain conditions.
Sensor switching downshift embedded in the throttle cable, delivers a signal for transmission. This signal is used by the electronic control unit to select the optimal gear.

The mechanism of the selector of an automatic transmission (the axis of the arm and the left lower part of the mechanism omitted to show the thrust plate automatic locking device: 1 - magnetic switch locking device, 2 - terminal 3 - lock, 4 - pusher; 5 - power button; 6 - the selector lever 7 - thrust plate

Lever in the collection, including magnetic switch lock the gear is shown in Fig. 8.69. When you press the shutter release button on the lever is actuated plunger disposed within the lever. At the same time unlock the mechanism and it is possible to enable another transfer.

The cable gear selector

The mechanism selector

Selector cable is attached to the inner side of the selector mechanism for a finger and retaining brackets. Location finger shown in Fig. 8.70. Before installing apply to the tip of a cable thin layer of grease.
On the other side of the cable connected to the gearshift lever knob with a special shoulder bolt, and the sheath of a cable clamp fastened to the bracket on the transmission housing. The tip of the cable from the transmission before installation also requires lightly grease.

Cable Adjustment
Cable adjustment procedure is as follows:
move the selector lever to Park;
Loosen the bolt with collar that secures the selector cable to the shift lever on the gearbox;
make sure that the transmission mechanism has provided the required position Park, to indicate that the operation of the automatic locking device;
tighten the bolt.

Automatic locking device

Locking device
Fig. 8.71. Locking device: 1 - power button; 2 - the selector lever; 3 - thrust plate; 4 - the traction relay; 5 - pusher selector lever

Automatic locking device (Fig. 8.71) is a part of the gear selector mechanism.
Operation of the lock assembly is achieved when the locking device of the traction relay electronic control unit. The traction relay turns thrust plate, blocking the pusher selector lever. This prevents the release mechanism from the position defined by latch selector.
The control unit includes a magnetic switch whenever the lever is set to position Park or Neutral. When you press the brake pedal to the control unit receives a signal off the traction relay, after which the selector lever can be moved to another position.
The traction relay locking device are available for fixing the longitudinal grooves to ensure adjustment of the position of the traction relay.

To check the position of the traction relay locking device, check the clearance between the backing plate and a pusher gear lever
Fig. 8.72. To check the position of the traction relay locking device, check the clearance between the backing plate and a pusher gear lever. The size of "a" must correspond to 0.3 mm

Disconnect the connector and with disconnected traction relay adjust its position (Fig. 8.72). After adjustment check the operation of the locking device in position Park or Neutral, and the work of the selector lever in all positions.

NOTE
Before wrapping put on the screws fastening the traction relay of a thin layer of grease regulated.
