Finding the source of the short circuit

To locate the source of the short-circuit load circuit disconnect elements (elements that consume electricity, such as lamps, motors, heating elements, etc.).
Remove the mounting block and connect the fuse tester probes or the voltmeter to the terminals.
Ensure that there is power in the chain, keeping in mind that some of the electrical circuit are included only when you turn the key in the ignition lock in certain position.
If the warning light or voltmeter readings indicate the presence of voltage in the circuit, the circuit is shorted.
If during the test the voltage in the circuit is not available, but the fuse still blows, this indicates a failure of an element of loading.
