Safety precautions when working with electronic ignition system

The ignition voltage, electronic ignition systems, up to 30 000 B. To avoid injury from electrical shock and to prevent damage to the ignition, must be respected, basic safety precautions:
- Do not touch the high-voltage ignition wire by hand and do not remove it while the engine is running or when the motor starter;

The system of ignition and injection KE-Motronic
Fig. 6.8. The system of ignition and injection KE-Motronic: 1 - the spark of healing; 2 - O-ring; 3 - ground plate on the cylinder head; 4 - the throttle body; 5 - a bolt; 6 - dust cap; 7 - electric socket; 8 - distributor rotor; 9 - control unit; 10 - high-voltage wires; 11 - electrical connectors; 12 - One-contact electrical connector; 13 - a protective cover; 14 - the ignition coil; 15 - tips; 16 - the gauge on the high-voltage wire 4-cylinder; 17 - a cover of the noise blanker; 18 - a cover of the distributor, 19 - carbon contact; 20 - the ignition distributor; 21 - the gauge of a detonation 2; 22 - a bolt; 23 - the gauge of a detonation 1; 24 - a spark plug

Ignition system TCI-H (TSZ - H)

Ignition system TCI-H (TSZ - H) 1 - Switch; 2 - high-voltage wires; 3 - tips suppression; 4 - screen; 5 - a cover of the distributor of ignition; 6 - coal contact; 7 - the spark plug; 8 - the tip of the spark plug; 9 - the ignition coil; 10 - a protective cover; 11 - Pin 1 (-); 12 - 15-pin connector (); 13 - terminal 4

- When the motor starter to prevent starting of the engine, the high-voltage cable must be disconnected from the central contact of the distributor cap and is connected to the "weight". The system KE-Motronic disunite connector 11 (see. Fig. 6.8.) Unit power next to the ignition coil. If the ignition system is damaged and need to tow the vehicle with the ignition, it is necessary to disunite an electric socket 1 (see. Fig. 6.3) from the block TCI - H;
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before performing electrical welding work on the vehicle;
ignition wires and wire measuring devices disconnect only when the ignition is switched off;
puskozarjadnoe start using the device is only allowed no more than 1 minute at a voltage of no more than 16.5 V. The rotor of the distributor of ignition with a resistance of 1 ohm (lettering R1), replaced on the other can not be, even for radio interference suppression;
to eliminate noise in high voltage wires, use only 1 ohm resistors and the spark plug with a resistance of 5 ohms. When heated over 80 ? C, run the engine only after cooling;
Mineral engine produces only when the ignition is off. The engine can be operated only when the ignition control unit is firmly fixed.
