Connection ohmmeter to measure the resistance of the switch Kick-down


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the two-contact switch of compulsory inclusion of low transmission (kick-down), located at the front of the engine compartment.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to terminals switch Kick-down and measure the resistance, which should be equal to infinity, see. Fig. Connection ohmmeter to measure the resistance of the switch Kick-down.
3. Slowly press the accelerator pedal. When approaching the stop of the accelerator pedal, the resistance at the terminals of the switch Kick-down should abruptly drop to zero.
4. Otherwise, readjust the accelerator cable or replace the faulty switch is compulsory inclusion downshift.
