Adjustable hood

Adjustable left and right stops 7 will not serve to adjust the hood. The challenge is to balance the hood 5 and to ensure the absorption of vibrations (Fig. 8.24).

The hood 5 is adjusted correctly when in the closed position all sides are the same gaps, and it does not act neither forward nor back and is flush with the wings.

Hood 5 must be snapped in the lock without significant effort.

6 Remove the hook.

Remove the gas stops 8 with hood 5 (Fig. 8.24).

Relaxing but not unscrewing bolts 1 and 3 screws on the left and right sides of the hood 4 hinged hood 5 can be centered between the wings.

At the rear of the hood 5 can adjust the height relative to the front of the wings by means of adjusting screws 2 on the right and the left.

Watch out for uniform gap.

After adjustment should take measures for corrosion protection of the hinge 4, the bolts 1 and 3 (Fig. 8.24).

After adjusting the hood 5 refit and adjust the lock hook 6.

With locks on the front of the hood 5 can adjust the height with respect to wing

Adjust the stops 7.
