Exhaust gas recirculation device (engines with code letter BLR, BLX, BVX, BVY)

NOTE

Under certain operating conditions, the air sucked into the exhaust gases are fed through the EGR valve. Due to this temperature decrease is achieved by the mixture in the combustion chamber and thereby improves the quality of exhaust gases.

EGR valve is controlled by the engine control unit.

About the position of the EGR valve, the engine control unit receives a signal from a potentiometer for exhaust gas recirculation. The valve and potentiometer installed in a single piece.
