Removal of the oil pump driven balancer shaft

Remove the oil pan.

Remove the chain cover. If necessary, release the locking tabs with a small screwdriver through the holes (Fig. 2.174).

Remove the bolt sprocket chain drive oil pump (Fig. 2.175). Hold can at central bolt vibration damper.

ATTENTION
Balancer shaft drive sprocket loosened prohibited.

Loosen the tensioning rail with a screwdriver and fix it with an Allen wrench 1 Wrench 3 mm (Fig. 2.176).

Remove the oil pump sprocket and chain to hang on the drive balancing shaft (Fig. 2.177).

Remove the screws from the drive balancing shaft edges to the center and remove it (Fig. 2.178).
Remove the intermediate plate.
