Checking the oil level in the gearbox



To check the oil level in the gearbox, proceed as follows:
- Turn the steering wheel fully to the left;
- Remove the bottom casing of the engine compartment;

Location cork level hole and the Gulf in a transmission gear oil (indicated by arrow)

- Remove the plug (Fig. 257) level hole and the Gulf of gear oil;
- The oil should reach the lower edge of the filler opening;
- If necessary, add oil through the hole for the Gulf oil.

Note
Transmission is filled with gear oil ATF from Volkswagen.
