Compression check in engine cylinders



To check whether a tightly fitting valves, if not worn piston rings, there is no any other fault in the cylinder, measure the engine compression. The engine must be at operating temperature.
On the VR6 engine control the engine compression is associated with some difficulties, because it requires using a special tool to remove the plugs spark plugs and spark plugs themselves.
