Replacement head Tie Rod End



After replacing the tie rod or tie rod head swipe Wipes-camber:
- Remove the front wheel;
- Hold the tie rod at hexagon, lock it in a fixed position. Loosen the tie rod lock nut;

- Loosen the nut on the tie rod head on the steering pitman arm puller and disconnect the connection (see. Fig. 264);
- Remove the head of the tie rod, assuming that the number of revolutions, which were required for its withdrawal;
- If necessary to replace the hinge cover, then:
- Remove the clamps and pull the bellows;
- Put a new cover on the protruding end of the tie rod and install it new collars. After this adjustment will be required descent-camber;
- Install a new head tie rod and screw it on the number of revolutions, which has been twisted in the old;
- Clean the head bolt tie rod and insert it into the fry wheel. Put on a new self-locking nut and tighten it to a torque of 30 Nm. From the end position tighten it further 90 ?�;
- Test the convergence of the camber (see. Section 13 "front suspension"). Please note that safety has not been rolled bellows. Tighten the lock nut on the inside of the hinge tie rod torque 55 Nm.
