Check the combination valve



Test conditions
Unusual and should be provided with vacuum pipes for leaks and hose connections
Vacuum tubes are not bent or clogged.

Checking procedure

Disconnect vacuum hose for secondary air valve N112 from the combination valve (Fig. 2.304).

NOTE
At the next test does not use compressed air.

Connect a hand vacuum pump VAG 1390 to vacuum fitting combination valve (Fig. 2.305).
Disconnect pressure hose connected to the combination valve from the coupling end of the tube to connect the auxiliary hose and gently Blow into it. Combined valve must be closed.
Operate hand vacuum pump. Combined valve should open.
If the combination valve does not open, replace it.
