Checking the oil pressure on the front side of the engine



Checking procedure
Remove casings of the engine compartment.
Remove sound insulation from the cylinder head.

Remove the oil drain plug A checked channel number of cylinders (Fig. 2.269).

ATTENTION
The oil passage hole has a very small height of thread. The adapter VAG 1342/19 because of possible damage to the thread can not twist too much.

Connect the pressure gauge VAG 1342 oil adapter VAG 1342/19 to the opening of the oil passage.
Close the check hole for oil pressure on the pressure gauge VAG 1342 with the help of the screw plug of the engine.
Start the engine.
At 1000 min -1 and a temperature of 80 ?� C the oil pressure of oil should not be less than 1.4 bar.
