Cylinder head cover



A WARNING
On the bearing surface between the pulley and the crankshaft and on the pulley bolt of grease.
When you install a new bolt, replace the crankshaft pulley.

Remove the three screws and remove the engine cover (see. Fig. 3.1.2).

Remove the air filter cover (see. Fig. 3.1.3).

Remove the bolts and remove the air tubes 1 and 2 (see. Fig. 3.1.4).

Disconnect from the front of the cylinder head cover and the hose bent pipe 2 (Fig. 3.1.55) crankcase ventilation and move it aside.
Disconnect the pipe 1 (see. Fig. 3.1.55) of the combined charge air valve on the cylinder head cover and on thermofilter (only on engines ABN). Take the tube side.

Remove the bolt 2 (Fig. 3.1.56) and disconnect the connection of the engine with "weight".
Disconnect the ignition coils electrical connectors 3, unscrew bolts and remove the ignition coil 1.
Remove the two upper clamp fastening of a casing of a gear belt.

Remove the nuts (Fig. 3.1.57) and remove the cylinder head cover.
Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
If necessary, replace the O-ring gasket and cylinder head cover.
Degrease, gasket cylinder head cover.

Apply a thin continuous layer of sealant AMV 147 004 01 on the semicircular surface (Fig. 3.1.58) at both ends of the cylinder head.
Nuts of fastening of the cylinder head cover gradually tighten crosswise.
Pay attention to the correct positioning of the upper toothed belt.
