The weakening of the tension of the V-ribbed belt and the arrangement of bolts (1) and nuts (2) fixing the generator on non-turbo four-cylinder engines
Fig. 3.1.30. The weakening of the tension of the V-ribbed belt and the arrangement of bolts (1) and nuts (2) fixing the generator on non-turbo four-cylinder engines

Wrench, turn clockwise tensioner V-ribbed belt to loosen its tension (see. Fig. 3.1.30).
Remove ribbed belt from the alternator pulley and release the tensioner V-ribbed belt.

A WARNING
Ribbed C compressor drive belt removed is not required.

Secure by turning the pulley fan with viscous coupling bolt M5x60 mm.
Socket wrench to remove the 8 mm bolts and remove a pulley viscous clutch fan radiator.
Take the radiator fan to the radiator.
Remove the screws indicated by arrows in Fig. 2, and remove the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment.

Unscrewing bolts of the water pump pulley and the use of the lock to lock the rotation of the pulley power steering pump
Fig. 3.1.32. Unscrewing bolts of the water pump pulley and the use of the lock to lock the rotation of the pulley power steering pump

Remove the bolts of the water pump pulley. To prevent rotation of the pulleys, insert the clip into the hole of the pulley power steering pump (Fig. 3.1.32).
Remove the V-belt.
Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following features.
Install the V-belt and connect the two sections of the water pump pulley, without tightening the bolts to the end.
Turning the water pump pulley, gradually tighten the bolts to 25 N ? m.

A WARNING
Adjusting the tension of the V-belt drives the water pump is not provided.

Install the fan with viscous coupling.
Install poly V-belt drives the power steering pump and alternator. Filmed before the belt is adjusted in accordance with applied labels.
Start the engine, check the location and fluidity belts.
Recheck the tightening torque of bolts of fastening of the water pump pulley.
