Removing the lower section of the sump 2.8-liter petrol engine

Remove the screws and remove the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment (see. Fig. 3.2.2).
Drain the engine oil.
Remove the screws anti-roll bar to the bottom of the front frame, lower it to 10 cm and secure in this position with a soft wire.

Cars with automatic transmission

Remove the two screws (Fig. 6.16) mounting brackets to support the piping to the automatic transmission.

All models
Unscrew the lower section of the oil pan and remove it.

Cars manufactured before 04.97

Location cover bolts (1) and gasket (2) of the lower section of the oil pan

Turn out bolts 1 (fig. 6.17) fastenings of the cover and remove the cover and the gasket 2.
