Repair of a back support

Rear Caliper
Fig. 15.23. Rear Caliper 1 - self-locking bolts 35 Nm; 2 - a support lever for the parking brake cable; 3 - bleeder valve; 4 - a protective cap; 5 - sealing lip of the piston; 6 - piston; 7 - the guide pin; 8, 9 - Protective covers; 10 - the holder of a support

Details back support shown in Fig. 15.23.
Clean dust and dirt from the caliper, using respiratory protection.

Use of the tool 3272 unscrewing piston caliper
Fig. 15.24. Use of the tool 3272 unscrewing piston caliper

Remove the piston from the caliper tool 3272 (Fig. 15.24). To release the piston set the tool so that the collar instrument established in the grooves of the piston. Turn the tool body clockwise until it stops. Rotate the tool counterclockwise, remove the piston from the caliper.
Carefully remove the sleeve from the bore of the cylinder slide using a mounting wedge or blade flat screwdriver as a lever.
Check the condition of all the details of a support, replace worn or damaged parts. Pay special attention to the cylinder and piston. In the presence of scratches, scratches, wear or pitting, replace the piston and cylinder. Regardless of the condition, replace the rubber seals.
Wash out all details in methyl spirit or a pure brake liquid and wipe them. Purge the tube with compressed air and openings.

Fitting a protective cover on the piston calipers
Fig. 15.18. Fitting a protective cover on the piston calipers

Apply a thin layer of greasing G 052 150 A2 on the sealing sleeve and the piston (see. Fig. 15.18).
Install the dust cover on the piston so that the inner edge of the cover included in the groove of the piston.

Using a special tool to install a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support
Fig. 15.25. Using a special tool to install a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support

Set opposite the piston cylinder and caliper, using a special device, insert a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support before it locks (Fig. 15.25).
Screw the piston in the caliper with a tool for screwing in the piston 3272. Set up the instrument so that the collar came into the grooves of the piston. Turn the tool body clockwise until it stops. Rotate the tool clockwise, screw the piston in the caliper (see. Fig. 15.24).
After installing the piston, you must purge the air cylinder and fill it with fresh brake fluid.
