Fig. 15.20. Forward support HP-2: 1 - a protective cap; 2 - bleeder valve; 3 - caliper support; 4 - piston seals; 5 - pistons; 6 - a protective cover

Apparatus forward support HP-2 shown in Fig. 15.20.

NOTES
Parts of the caliper slide bolts connected with internal shaped deepening, and can not be disassembled. If the damage of protective covers of the guide pin must be replaced with new ones.
O-rings are removed using a mounting wedge, set by hand.

Clean dust and dirt from the caliper, while not inhale dust.
Secure the caliper in a vice. To remove the piston post air at low pressure in the brake cylinder through an aperture for connection of a brake hose. On the side of the piston install a special device to force the piston, which will keep the plunger in place, and from the second piston install a piece of wood.

Using a wedge assembly to extract the seal of the cylinder bore caliper

Remove the wooden block and gently pull the piston. Carefully, so as not to damage the cylinder wall, remove the sleeve from the cylinder bore caliper mounting wedge or blade flat screwdriver (Fig. 15.21).
Check the condition of the cylinder and piston. In the presence of scratches, scratches, wear or pitting, replace the piston and cylinder. Irrespective of a condition replace all rubber seals.
Wash out all details in methyl spirit or a pure brake liquid and wipe them.

Fitting a protective cover on the piston calipers
Fig. 15.18. Fitting a protective cover on the piston calipers

Apply a thin layer of greasing G 052 150 A2, the O-ring and piston (Fig. 15.18).
Install the dust cover on the piston so that the inner edge of the cover included in the groove of the piston.

Using a special tool to install a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support
Fig. 15.22. Using a special tool to install a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support

Install the cylinder piston calipers in front and with the help of a special device, insert a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support before it locks (Fig. 15.22).
Special adaptation or the hammer handle press the piston into the cylinder support.
After installing the piston blow air cylinder and fill it with fresh brake fluid.
If necessary, replace the second piston repeat operations on removal and installation of the piston calipers, while the extraction piston install a piece of wood from the second piston.
