Replace gasket intake pipe

Between the flanges of the cylinder head and intake manifold gasket set made of compressed asbestos sheet, reinforced with steel. When tightness of the gasket does not run smoothly ("troit"). If you can not correct the problem by tightening the fixing of an inlet pipe, replace the gasket.
To replace the gasket intake pipe to disconnect any hoses (except hose crankcase ventilation system), and the wire is not required. Their flexibility allows to withdraw the inlet pipe from the cylinder head by a distance sufficient to remove the pads.
You will need a socket or spanner "12".
1. Drain the cooling system (see. "Replacing the coolant").
2. Loosen the drive belt of the generator and the power steering pump and remove the belt from the alternator pulley (see. "Replacing the alternator drive belt and the power steering pump").

3. Remove the bolt tensioning straps generator and carry the generator from the engine by turning it to the bracket.
4. Loosen the hose clip crankcase ventilation pipe to the engine cylinder head cover by squeezing it with pliers bent tabs, slide the clamp on a hose ...
5. ... and disconnect the hose from the cover.
6. Remove the ten screws and bolts on the inlet pipe in the sequence shown in Fig. 5.5.
7. Remove the inlet pipe from the studs, push slightly to the side and remove the gasket from the studs.
8. Carefully clean the gasket surface of the cylinder head and the intake pipe from the remnants of old gasket.
9. Install a new gasket and all the removed parts in reverse order of removal.
10. Bolts and nuts tighten the intake pipe in the reverse order shown in Fig. 5.5, the moment given in Annex 1.

HELPFUL ADVICE
To avoid sticking pads and to improve its sealing is recommended before installing the gasket grease it on both sides of a thin layer of graphite grease.
The studs of the cylinder head bolts and the inlet tube graphite grease lubricated.
