Checking high-voltage wires

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect high-voltage wires from candles and ignition coils. Clean and check the insulation of high-voltage wires. Check the internal surface of the contact high-voltage wires for corrosion or fouling.
2. By an ohmmeter measure the resistance of high-voltage wires.
High-voltage wires SOHC engine
Cylinder ?1 ?2 No. 3 ?4
Length mm 605 545 450 370
Resistance (BOUGI), Ohm 2,71-4,07 2,44-3,66 2,02-3,02 1,66-2,49
Resistance (R16AIPS), Ohm 6,05-12,71 5,45-11,45 4,50-9,45 3,70-7,77
High-voltage wires motor VOHC
Cylinder ?1 ?2 No. 3 ?4
Length mm 560 440 360 310
Resistance (BOUGI), Ohm 2.51-3.76 1.97-2.96 1.61-2.42 1.39-2.08
Resistance (R16AIPS), Ohm 5.60-11.76 4.40-9.24 3.60-7.56 3.10-6.51

A warning

The resistance of the high-voltage wires must not exceed 10 000 ohms, otherwise replace the wire.
