Checking the oil level

Inspect the transmission for oil leakage. Removing the filler plug, check the oil level. If the oil is dirty, replace it.

When checking the oil level the vehicle must be in a horizontal position.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the oil filler cap.
  2. Check the oil level, which should be near the lower edge of the threaded hole for the oil filler plug. If the oil level is low, add the required amount of oil
  3. If the oil is dirty or the viscosity is not correct, replace it.
