A cleaner and a windscreen washer

Remove the wiper arms with brushes, unscrewing the nuts (Fig. 7.58). Tightening torque nuts wiper 18-23 Nm.

Remove the seal and the top cover scuttle (two parts) by unscrewing four bolts (Fig. 7.59).

Remove the motor and windscreen wiper mechanism by unscrewing the four mounting bolts (Fig. 7.60). Tightening torque of the motor mount and windscreen wiper mechanism 7-11 Nm. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Checking switching speeds wiper motor Disconnect the wiper motor connector.

Connect the positive battery terminal to terminal "1" motor connector and the negative terminal of the battery to the contact "3" motor connector (Fig. 7.61). Make sure that the motor is running at low speed. Connect the positive battery terminal to terminal "2" motor connector and the negative terminal of the battery to the contact "3" motor connector. Make sure that the motor runs at high speed. Check automatic shutdown Turn on the electric motor at low speeds.

Unplug the contact "1" connector (Fig. 7.62), turn off the motor in any position other than the position of the electromagnetic reversal. Connect the contacts between a "1" and "5" connector (see. Fig. 7.62). Connect the positive terminal ("+") to the battery terminal "4" motor connector and the negative terminal of the battery ("-") to terminal "3" motor connector (see. Fig. 7.62). Make sure that the motor is stopped at the position of the electromagnetic reversal. Setting

Install the levers and brush cleaner, observing the dimensions shown in Fig. 7.63.

Set the washer jets on the glass indicated on the figure. 7.64 sizes.
Motor windshield washer Refitting Disconnect "minus" output ("-") battery. Disconnect the washer hose from the tank and disconnect the motor.

Remove the washer tank by removing the two screws (Fig. 7.65). Installation is carried out in reverse order. Technical condition Without removing the motor from the washer fluid reservoir, fill the tank with water.

Attach the "plus" ("+") and "minus" ("-") battery terminals respectively to the terminals 1 and 2 of motor connector (Fig. 7.66) and make sure that the motor is running and that the water is sprayed through the jets of a washer. Ensure the normal operation of the motor.

Rear screen wiper motor Refitting

Remove the four screws and remove the two holder tailgate trim (Fig. 7.68). Remove the wiper arm by removing the nut. Tightening torque arm nuts cleaner 10-13 Nm. Remove facing the axis of the lever of a cleaner and remove the hex nut.
NOTE Installation of the cap and sleeve arrows on them have to be directed upwards. |
Tightening torque of hex nut 10-14 Nm. Remove the rear screen wiper motor by undoing two screws and disconnect the connector. Tightening torque motor mounting rear wiper 7-11 Nm. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Technical condition Disconnect the rear window wiper motor.

Connect the positive ("+") and negative ("-") terminals of the battery, respectively, with contacts "3" and "4" motor connector (Fig. 7.69). Ensure the normal operation of the motor. In case of violation of work, replace the motor. Installation of the lever and brush cleaner

Set arm and a wiper blade so that the dimension A (Fig. 7.70) is equal to 43-53 mm.

Install the rear window washer nozzle in accordance with those in the figure. 7.71 sizes.
The electric rear window washer Refitting Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the washer hose from the tank and disconnect the motor. Remove the washer tank by removing the two screws. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Technical condition Without removing the motor from the washer fluid reservoir, fill the tank with water.
