Activating the SRS warning lamp

The warning lamp installed in the instrument cluster provides information on the status of passive safety systems.

In some cases, the SRS unit management can not function properly and thus control the warning lamp. However, the warning lamp may be activated directly and independently of the state of the control unit. This activation is carried out in the following cases.

1. No power to the SRS-ECU from the ignition switch: the control lamp burns continuously.

2. No internal operating voltage: the control lamp burns continuously.

3. The connector SRS-ECU is not connected: the control circuit closes Lama jumper in the connector, and it lights up continuously.
