Remove the passenger airbag module (RAB)



Withdrawal

NOTE
Do not disassemble or repair the air bag module.
Do not drop the unit, do not let pollution module water, oil or grease. Replace the unit in the presence of dents, cracks, deformation or rust.
The air bag module must be stored flat plate upward. Do not place any objects on the cover pillows.
Do not expose the air bag module more than 93 ?� C.
Undermining and disposal must be carried out according to cushion a special procedure.
Never attempt to measure the resistance of the squib pillows, even with a special tester: possible sudden undermining pillows, which will lead to an accident.
If you worked pillow, air bag module must be replaced by a new one.


Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

ATTENTION
Before starting work, wait at least 30 seconds.

Remove the glovebox.
Disconnect the connector of passenger airbag module.
Remove the front panel and remove the passenger airbag module.
Upholstery passenger airbag module is integrated with the front wheel. Therefore, undermining the cushion front panel must be replaced.
