Side impact sensor

Side impact sensor (left and right) is set in the middle of the passenger compartment in the side-impact airbags. SRS-ECU undermines the right pillow or seat belt pretensioners. The decision on the activation of a particular side airbag is made based on the sensor signals the side strokes.
SRS-ECU supports side airbags, comparing the acceleration recorded auxiliary sensors.
Signal processing auxiliary sensors pass the time.

NOTE
Ignition Avoid applying sharp blows to the body in the area of the sensors. SRS-ECU can take it for collision and undermine the airbag.
