Watch-spring

The clock spring (current collector) consists of two conductive windings. The spring is mounted on the steering column and the steering wheel. Thus, when the steering wheel is made permanent electrical contact between the airbag module and system of passive safety.
For proper operation of the clock spring steering wheel must be properly installed on the steering column (the combination of the central position of the control wheel and clock spring). Otherwise, the clock spring may be damaged.
