Installation of fasteners

Connecting bolts and nuts

Connection pipe air-conditioning system
Fig. 8.56. Connection pipe air-conditioning system

Apply to all fasteners compressor oil for ease of tightening sufficient for watertight connections.
To prevent twisting of the tightness of pipelines is performed by two keys.
Tighten fittings to torque.

Flange connections with guide pin
Check the O-ring to make sure none of his injuries and put on a compressor oil.

The scheme of installation flanges
Fig. 8.57. The scheme of installation flanges

Insert the tube, as shown in Figure 8.57, and tighten the nut by hand.

Compression oil
Oil for greasing of the compressor while it is circulating in the system. In all cases, when replacing parts of the system or leak large amounts of the refrigerant, add oil to restore its original amount.
Single Filling: 140-160 g

Waste oil
Do not allow oil to moisture, dust, metal particles, etc.
Do not mix different grades of oil.
With long-term exposure to air at the oil moisture content increases. After refueling and adding oil immediately tightly close the package.

Filling compressor oil
Before checking the oil level and topping up, let the engine idle for 20-30 minutes, the temperature of the switch to the position corresponding to the salon supply maximum cooling air, and fan switch - the maximum speed of rotation, and then pour oil into the compressor.

Check and restoration of level of compressor oil
For topping up the oil when the compressor is running pre-check the oil level.
Make fill compressor oil, stop the engine, drain the coolant and remove the compressor from the vehicle.
Drain oil through drain fitting system.

NOTE
Drain the oil from the cold compressor is difficult. Before draining the oil warm up the compressor to about 40-50 ? C.

Determine the amount of oil drained. If it is less than 70 cm 3, so there is a slight oil leak. Check the tightness of all the system connections, repair the leak or replace the defective parts.
Check oil for contamination and restore it to normal levels, as indicated below.

Topping the replacement parts
When replacing parts of replacement parts is filled in the following amount of oil.

Installation of control points

Connection gas hose
Fig. 8.58. Connection gas hose

Close both the valve pressure gauge adapter.

ATTENTION
When installing the control pressure gauges comply with security measures.

Connect the charge hose to the adapter connecting pipes. Low pressure hose to connect the filler neck low-pressure and high-pressure hose - to the high pressure refueling connector. Tighten the nuts of the hose connections manually.

NOTE
Fill the coolant system after removing the cover of the engine and the air-intake pipe.

Drain coolant
Connect a set of reference pressure gauges to the system.
Lay a towel under the open end of the central tube.
Drain the refrigerant slowly opening valve high pressure line.

NOTE
Too quickly drain the coolant can occur draining the oil from the compressor system.

Check for oil stains on the towel. If there is a slightly cover the valve.
When the pressure gauge fall below 3.5 kgf / cm 2, slowly open the valve on the low pressure line.
Slowly open the valves in the high and low pressure up until gauges show 0 kgf / cm 2.
