Precautions on refrigerant

Refrigerant R-134a is highly volatile. Contact with refrigerant droplets on the skin can cause local freezing. When working on the refrigerant use glasses for eye protection and gloves to protect your hands. If you get coolant in your eyes, immediately rinse them with water.

Vessel with R-134a refrigerant under high pressure. It does not store the container in a place where it can be exposed to high temperatures. Storage temperature must not exceed 52 ?� C.

The tightness of the system checks the electronic leak detector. Keep in mind that R-134a refrigerant when exposed to an open flame releases toxic gas phosgene.

For the filling loop R-134a refrigerant, use only the specified oil grade. Use of other brands of oil can cause system failure.

Since PAG oil rapidly absorbs moisture from the surrounding air, observe the following precautions:

- When removing any parts of the refrigerant circuit immediately plug the holes to protect against moisture;

- When installing components of the refrigerant circuit remove the plug hole just before installing the parts;

- Connection of all piping and hoses are made in the shortest possible time to prevent the ingress of moisture in the air conditioner;

- Use only the specified refrigerant oil brands of sealed containers.

In case of accidental refrigerant leaks from the system, ventilate the work area before proceeding.

Precautions for the replacement of parts of the air conditioning

It is forbidden to loosen the connection parts to drain the refrigerant from the system.

To prevent the ingress of moisture immediately close the openings parts caps or plugs.

Remove the protective cap just before installation details.

When connecting fittings parts required to put the new O-rings, pre inflicting on fitting and seal the coolant.
