Catalytic converter

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open the throttle, bringing the engine speed to a value of 2000 rev / min.
  2. Quickly release the shutter.
  3. If the permeability of the converter is not broken, the gauge readings will fall rapidly to a value of not more than 51 mm Hg. Art. or more above the normal value.
  4. If the gauge does not fix depression by depth of 127 mm Hg. Art. or higher than the normal value or freezes for a moment at the highest point before returning, cross-exhaust system or catalytic converter is broken (by preventing combustion, deformation of the pipe sections or displacement of partitions inside the muffler).
