Replacing the air filter element



NOTE
If the vehicle is operated in dusty conditions the air filter, replace the air cleaner element more often than the established rules of maintenance.

1. Undo the latch (Fig. 1.180).

2. Remove the air cleaner cover and remove the filter element (Fig. 1.181).
3. Wipe inside the air cleaner housing with a damp cloth.
4. Clean or replace the filter element.
5. Install the filter element and the above steps in reverse order.
Replace the air filter element in accordance with the established rules of maintenance.
